Named in honor of the Mexican, Nobel Prize winner in Literature 1990, the Octavio Paz Prize awards biannually a book length unpublished manuscript written in Spanish by a poet living in the US. The Prize is presented by the National Poetry Series in collaboration with the Miami Dade College (Book Fair). Below is part of my submission, that didn't win but was a finalist that "stood out with the readers."
